ABB IRC5, SICK Inspector camera and laser for 3D measurement.
Commissioning, programming mask handling in 280°C hot galvano-forms to produce two-color PVC skins as a coating over for BMW cockpits.
Due to changing the insertion positions by thermal expansion, both forms get measured in 3D by camera and laser by robot 2. After data exchange with robot 1, insertion positions get calculated, both robots locking the masks in the form, leaving them and moving out. After slush process, robots picking the masks out from the forms and stored them in racks for cleaning.

Ordered cycletime 134 sec., reached cycletimg on start 116  sec., so for all sequences was far in front of production start finished and until the end of project all contentration could investet on the hemming glue for minimum overflow by optimal hemming filling.
